This is the most popular Creusen grinder and great for carvers,

turners and general woodworkers alike. On one side is a generous

40mm wide aluminium oxide stone and on the other a 20mm

coarse grey aluminium oxide stone for general grinding. With

wide, fully adjustable grinding rests, high strength polycarbonate

guards and additional vibration damping, this is a pleasure to

own and use. Supplied with 350W 2,850rpm motor, one 40mm

wide aluminium oxide grindstone 100g and one 20mm wide 80g

aluminium oxide grindstone. (Bore size 15mm).

HP7150TS Powerline Grinder

A very sturdy bench grinder, ideal for heavier work and ﬁ tted with

a very powerful 600W motor and 200mm diameter by 25mm

wide stones. The generous fully adjustable grinding rests really

do enhance this machine with the increased power making it a

good machine on which to mount wire brushes or polishing mops.

Supplied with two 25mm wide grey aluminium oxide grindstones

36g and 80g. (Bore size 15mm). When ﬁ tting wire brushes, the

Extension Spindle (900174) and Wheel Guard Cover (200156) should

be used to minimise the effect of the brush ‘spreading’ during use.

In response to considerable demand, Creusen have made for us a

grinder with all the attributes so often asked for by woodturners.

The major difference from other grinders is the slower speed

(1,425rpm), which should prevent burning on the delicate tips

of turning tools. It is ﬁ tted with two 40mm wide white stones as

standard (bore size 15mm, one coarse 60G and one ﬁ ne 100G)

and uses double locking, fully adjustable tool rests. This is not a

cheap grinder but a tool with a real purpose. Please note, due

to the nature of the specially wound motor, this unit does take

a short while to come up to speed after being switched on. Not

suitable for use with wire brushes.

Also available is a very useful stainless

steel water cup which mounts in between

the grinder and the stand. The cup can be

TCT tooling (silicon carbide green). Please check the bore size

strongly recommend the use of a guard when using a polishing

The best method of adding a wire wheel

to an existing grinder, whilst still retaining

the use of both grinding wheels. All that

is required to ﬁ t the addition is for the

central disc of the existing guard to be knocked out. Suitable for
